Capacity Enhancement of Milk Processing Units

Under the scheme, remote areas of the state and the areas where milk transport is practically not feasible from village to the district central dairy or milk chilling centers. A small decentralized milk processing unit (Growth Center) for milk and milk products will be established. Products like Badri Cow Ghee, Churpi (hard cheese) etc. will be prepared and sold.

Through the Growth Center the milk producers of the milk societies will get extra payment of Rs. 2.0 to 3.0 per liter of milk by the sale of products of the growth center.
