Cooperative Dairy Farms (50 Cattle units)

Under the scheme a loan has been sanctioned to the milk cooperative society or its nominee for setting up a cooperative dairy farm unit of 50 milch animals. The unit cost of which has been fixed at Rs 92.40 lakh under different items. Under this scheme, NCDC will provide 14.59 percent grant of the cost. The loan will be done by the concerned branch of the District Co-operative Bank, on which 12.00 percent monthly compound interest will be payable.

The loan can be repaid in monthly installments in a maximum period of 05 years. Under the scheme, it will be mandatory to purchase milch animals from outside of the state and a contract will be made on a non-judicial stamp of Rs 100 by the milk society. All the milk will be provided to the concerned milk cooperative union by the milk society.
